Tilted Towers Reborn is a Team Deathmatch game made for Dreamhack Stockholm 2024, alongside Prop Hunt Playfest. It was played at the event on livestreams by AussieAntics and MrSavage, with viewers able to join in.

I implemented a lobby system that had players initially spawning in a VTOL, where they could select their loadout and team while waiting for more players to join. The camera zoomed out to fit all of the players into view as they spawned in, sitting on each side of the VTOL waiting to drop in. When the game started, a cinematic cutscene was played that showed the opposing VTOL's battling in the sky, before players were teleported into the air and skydived onto the map.

I also implemented the game's UI, which showed how many points each team had, and a progress bar showing how close they were to the required points to win. The UI also worked alongside my event system, showing how long until the next random event started, and showing the name of the event while it was active.

One of the events I created was "Tactical Delivery", where a cutscene showed both VTOLs crashing on the ground, and a crate (marked by a beacon) was dropped outside them. Players could open the crate at the other team's VTOL, which granted them a lot of points and a powerful weapon, while they tried to defend their own VTOL's crate from the other team.

Another event was "Siege", which unlocked a random capture area on the map. Players had to defend this area and maintain the majority inside the zone to earn points every few seconds. After a while, the capture area would move to another location, and players would continue fighting for that one until the event was complete.
