Contract Work

I implemented a lives system in this edit wars game. Players battled by editing the floors underneath each other, and received a point when other players were eliminated. Each player had 3 lives, which displayed as hearts on the UI, and allowed them to respawn three times. Once they ran out of lives, they would spectate for the remainder of the game.

The game had a time limit with a custom HUD widget displaying the remaining time on screen. At the end of the game, a custom victory screen was displayed for the winner before showing the final leaderboard, and starting a new round.

Lifetime wins were tracked with points so you could compare yourself to other players on the leaderboard.
