Dusty Red vs Blue

Contract Work

I was contracted to build an event system for a Red vs Blue game. The events were triggered by using gold acquired in-game to purchase one after a cooldown period.

Nuke: A nuke is dropped and eliminates every other player in the game.

Meteor: A meteor strikes the center of the map, pushing back players and dealing a large amount damage, granting the elimination to the player that triggered the event.

Lightning: Lightning strikes hit random locations around the map, damaging and knocking back the players as well as destroying their builds, with audio localised to the strikes.

Floor is Lava: Lava rises up from the ground, damaging any players that aren't standing on builds.

Tornado: A fire tornado moves around the map, which players can get caught in. While inside the radius, players are dealt damage.
